Adderley Raised Gold Flowers & Spiderwebs Pompadour Pink Bouillon Cup & Saucer. Nice antique porcelain bone china bouillon cup and saucer. Decorated with raised gold gilt flowers and leaves and gold spiderwebs over a pompadour pink background. With a gold gilt and grayish white border along the edge. Clouded along gilding along the inner rim of the cup.
Gold gilding along the edge and to the handles of the cup. Marked on the bottom WA Adderley & Co England in red. This mark was used by William A Adderley between 1912 and 1926. Also has the name of the importer / retailer D. Bedell & Co New York below and the pattern number 10934 in black.
Has crazing typical of bone china and minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle x 2 inches tall.The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
