Offered here for your consideration is an antique 1Meissen Porcelain Cup and Saucer. The cup is decorated with enamel painted flowers and insects and a figural twig handle. The mid to late 18th century.

It is in overall good to fair, as-pictured used estate condition with a chip to the saucer, fritting to the feet, possible repair to the foot of the cup, some losses to the enamel painting. Rubbing to the gold, fine and. Light glaze and surface scratches here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. The cup and saucer are likely associated from separate sets.

(The cup has a gilt rim and the saucer has a painted rim). Blue underglaze crossed swords factory marks.
