Antique Nymphenburg Chocolate Cup & Saucer, Vibrant Flowers, Richly Gilded

  

CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in 1898. It is signed by the artist.

The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 7/8 inches tall, without the handle and has a diameter of 3 1/8 inches.

The set is shaped after the empire period, with curled, raised handle and deep saucer. The borders around the saucer and cup are filled with vibrantly colored, hand painted flowers.
