Unique Japanese Arita-Imari five-cup and saucer set, celadon porcelain, with display cabinet in lacquered wood. These cherry blossom (ume) shaped cups are used in Japanese tea-houses. Saucers are used for serving wagashi (sweets) during tea ceremony.

Beautifully hand-ornate decoration in over-glaze enamels, in the five colors of genuine Imari pottery: red, yellow, green, purple, and dark blue. Lacquered wood display case makes the set more appealing and striking. Nonetheless, functional as it can be a kitchen cabinet by itself. The Japanese art pottery makes an excellent housewarming gift, wedding, or anniversary present.
