Beautiful Antique Crossed Sword Meissen Flower Garlands Insect Soup Cup & Saucer

  

This is an exquisite large porcelain two Handled 5" wide soup cup with the matching 6.5" saucer. Both pieces bear the underglaze Meissen blue crossed swords without hash marks indicating they are first quality.

Each piece is Handpainted with scattered flowers and insects and the inside of the cup with flower garlands. The cup has an old repair on the handle seen in one picture, it is not really easily noticable. Otherwise the cup is in excellent condition as is the saucer.
