Beautiful Meissen Blue Flower Cup & Saucer Antique

  

Beautiful and rare to find antique Meissen cup & saucer dating to late 19th or early 20th century. Decorated with green leaves , vines and blue flowers.

I believe the blue flowers are called forget - me - not or violets , etc. Pretty fancy shape with gold gilt trim and hand painted flowers and insects. Measures saucer 4.75 inches long x cup is 3.6 inches long x almost 2 inches high. First quality blue crossed swords mark and incised marks. White porcelain is in good condition.

One foot on saucer has small edge flake at bottom edge. Leaves & blue flowers have chips and losses. Rare find if you have collected some of the blue flower tea pieces and excellent if you just want to display in your home.

I have only seen one other of these trays in my years of collecting. I ONLY SELL ANTIQUES AND MANY ARE OVER 100 PLUS YEARS OLD AND HAVE NORMAL USE WEAR.
