Donath Dresden Hand Painted Scattered Flowers & Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer A Pretty porcelain demitasse cup with entwined handle and floral shaped saucer with relief molded leaves around the center well. Decorated in the Meissen / Dresden style with hand painted scattered flowers in pink, purple, red, orange, blue, and yellow.

With gold gilding along the edge and gold highlights to the entwined handle on the cup. Marked on the bottom in blue with Rapier swords over an S. This mark was used by P Donath & Louis Levinsohn / Lowinson in Tiefenfurt, Silesia between 1886 and 1891.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 1/4 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall.

The saucer measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
