Decorated with the rare full FIGURAL FLOWER HANDLE. This is the B1 mark used dates this set from April 1933 to December 1934.
Note the wonderful scalloped body shape and squared saucer. The flower handle is completely hand painted in a bright yellow and orange and the cup and saucer are both trimmed in soft green. The floral pattern features various spring flowers - including daffodils, crocus, primulas and delphinium. Both pieces in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, other damage or restoration and both do pass the "ping" test. No wear to handpainted details and I see no visible crazing. Two small pin prick size darkened bits on the inside of cup and some typical minor glaze imperfections from original factory production on the white surface. Cup measures 2 1/2" tall and is 4 1/4" across total body width; saucer is 5 1/16 across. Marked as shown in photo with older Royal Paragon warrant mark in black with pattern number F 192/1 in dark burned orange on saucer. Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash. This rare set would make an impressive addition to your collection or a terrific gift.
