Offering a hard to find early 20th C Shelley China "Swansea Lace" pedestal tea cup & saucer, decorated in what appears to be peony flowers. The pattern number 8193 for Shelley Swansea Lace earthenware, this cup & saucer is most definitely china, I believe these pieces were mistakenly marked with the incorrect pattern number. Pattern is Swansea Lace in China.

Marked Shelley China England, pattern #8193, English registry #620057, registered on 07-06-1913. A green lace background with pink & lavender peony flowers. Cup measures 3-3/4" rim to rim by 2-1/8" in height, handle height 2-3/8. Condition is excellent, you will notice tiny pencil point firing marks on the white interior, one or two on each cup, no chips, no cracks, no crazing. To see our other listings.
