This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has first quality crossed swords under glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 6 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 3 inches tall with a diameter of 4 inches. It is the traditional shape with points and wavy edges, a split branch handle and no well in the saucer.
Both pieces have sprays of colorful hand painted garden flowers. There is an occasional insect fluttering about.
